Bosso targets legacy partners, club eyes century of glory

Highlanders FC kicked off their centennial celebration plans at a corporate breakfast in Bulawayo, with board chairman Luke Mnkandla laying out how the club wants to mark a century since its 1926 founding. The team is hunting for corporate partners to back community outreach programs, youth academy funding, and facility upgrades like a new gym and admin building.

Mnkandla pitched sponsorship deals that go beyond basic branding, pushing companies to invest in specific youth age groups or take naming rights on major infrastructure projects. He framed the centenary year as a chance for brands to get serious exposure while backing social programs that could shape the next generation of talent. The club is positioning itself as more than just a sports team, claiming it represents Zimbabwean resilience and wants partners who will help lock down another hundred years of success.
