Sheikh Limon and Asia Khatun won gold at a boxing tournament named for the July Revolution. The event happened at Mohammad Ali Boxing Stadium. Over fifty fighters across eleven divisions competed all day. Categories included boys, girls, and senior men and women.

Other senior male champions were Md. Juwel and Aronno Hossain Abir. Sumi Khatun also got gold for senior women. Youth and junior winners featured names like Alif Hossain and Mehedi Hasan. An additional secretary from the Youth and Sports Ministry handed out the medals and trophies afterward.
