Brentford finally caves, sells Bryan Mbeumo to Man United

Manchester United secured Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford after agreeing to pay £65 million with additional performance bonuses of £6 million. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano verified the completed transaction between both Premier League clubs. Brentford had turned down two earlier bids from United before accepting the final proposal. The London club first refused £45 million plus £10 million in add-ons, then rejected a second offer worth £55 million with £7.5 million in bonuses.

The 25-year-old striker arrived at Brentford from French side Troyes in 2019 for just £4 million. Mbeumo delivered exceptional performance during his time with the Bees across 239 appearances. The forward contributed 68 goals while creating 50 assists for teammates. His impressive statistics attracted United's attention as they sought attacking reinforcements. The substantial transfer fee represents significant profit for Brentford on their original investment.
