Boyko Borisov from GERB got into it with Assen Vassilev from We Continue the Change outside parliament over next year's budget, with Democratic Bulgaria's Ivaylo Mirchev jumping in after Finance Minister Temenuzhka Petkova said tripartite talks were back on. Mirchev told Borisov that Peevski was the one yanking his chain, and Vassilev kept pressing about whether they'd actually pull the budget proposal. Borisov said no way, explaining they'd hash everything out with business groups and unions before making changes during the parliamentary session.
Vassilev got heated about the three-year forecast already locked in with ECOFIN and whether social security contributions would spike, but Borisov said to wait until after their meetings to find out.
