Bulgaria's parliament is about to vote on the 2026 budget next week, but Continue We Change-Democratic Bulgaria is already calling it a disaster. Martin Dimitrov from the opposition said the spending plan just kicks tax hikes down the road to 2027 and 2028 without fixing any of the wasteful government programs. GERB-SDF budget committee head Delyan Dobrev pushed back and claimed they hit all the demands from people protesting in the streets.
