Bukombe DC warns loan recipients - stay disciplined

Free cash sounds sweet until the government demands receipts. Pasikasi Mulagiri told borrowers in Geita to stop wasting money and start acting like serious adults. The Bukombe District Commissioner handed out over two hundred million shillings in interest-free loans to nearly two dozen groups. He insisted that financial discipline determines if these funds actually change lives.

Mulagiri warned that this cash is definitely not a gift for partying. He explained that repayment creates the only path to securing bigger amounts later. The official stressed that sticking to the plan ensures capital grows instead of shrinking. He wants citizens to lift themselves out of poverty rather than staying broke.

Adelina Mfikwa noted the council keeps strict tabs on who gets approved to prevent scammers from draining the pot. The executive director claimed monitoring teams watch previous recipients like hawks to guarantee money comes back. She feels this cycle remains the only way to let fresh applicants get a turn.

Erick Kagoma argued that real discipline means sticking to the original proposal instead of freestyling. The council chairperson believes economic transformation happens when projects match reality. He stated that an inclusive economy requires everyone to respect the rules attached to national resources.
