Bulawayo robbers torture family with boiling water

Armed criminals invaded a Rangemore residence during early morning hours on September 19. Three suspects forced entry at approximately 6AM while a 29-year-old woman cleaned her yard. The attackers dragged her inside at gunpoint and demanded access to the main bedroom. They scalded multiple family members with heated water during the robbery. Assistant Inspector Thandekile Ndlovu confirmed the violent home invasion details.

Perpetrators tortured a sleeping 39-year-old man by pouring boiling liquid on his feet. They assaulted a 21-year-old victim with their firearm while threatening other residents. A 44-year-old man suffered head kicks and burns before being restrained with shoelaces. The gang escaped with cellular devices, currency, and a Nissan Caravan valued at US$16,550. Medical staff at United Bulawayo Hospitals treated three injured victims requiring admission.

Authorities discovered the abandoned getaway vehicle near Kings and Queens Funeral Parlour in Kelvin. Police recovered stolen property worth US$15,580 from the crime scene. Investigators launched an intensive search operation targeting the fleeing suspects. Officials encourage community members to report relevant information to local stations. The manhunt continues as law enforcement pursues the dangerous criminals.
