Bulawayo Teacher Bailed After Sick Boy Sex Claims

A Milton High School teacher received 300 dollar bail after facing charges for sexual misconduct with students. Tyson Lunga appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Eva Matura Thursday morning. The 36-year-old educator denies six counts of performing indecent acts with young people. His lawyer Constance Tatenda Mathaba represents him during court proceedings. Prosecutor Nkanyezi Xaba presented evidence against the accused teacher.

Police arrested Lunga for allegedly targeting four male students between ages 15 and 17 years. Authorities claim he sent inappropriate messages calling one student handsome and expressing sexual desires. The teacher offered another boy 10 dollars for sleeping with him at his school residence. Investigators say Lunga promised food, money and gym membership payments for sexual favors from different students. One complainant reported that Lunga discussed homosexuality and offered 50 dollars for intimacy.

Defense lawyers argue the allegations are false and based on rumors about Lunga's sexuality. They claim other teachers warned students to avoid Lunga before he transferred to Milton High School. The defense suggests colleagues pressured students into making false reports against their client. Court officials scheduled the next hearing for June 25 to continue proceedings. The boarding master received the final complaint that led to Lunga's arrest.
