Sabah Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin will defend his Lamag constituency against five challengers in the upcoming state assembly election. His opponents include Johainizamshah Johari from GRS, Mohd Saifulah Lokman representing Warisan, Mazlin Madali of Perikatan Nasional, Salahuddin Anoi from Parti Impian Sabah, and independent contender Mohd Ismail Ayob. Returning officer Yuesri Ismail Yusof confirmed the candidate list after nomination proceedings concluded.
