Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman will resume performing as the Guess Who during a Canadian tour launching in January 2026, marking their first trek under the band name in over two decades. The reunited founding members reached an agreement with original bassist Jim Kale and drummer Garry Peterson, who had controlled performance rights while operating a version of the group without any charter musicians.
Cummings previously terminated licensing agreements for his compositions last year, blocking unauthorized lineups from performing his catalog at regulated venues despite financial losses. Bachman departed the ensemble in 1970 to establish Bachman-Turner Overdrive, but occasionally collaborated with Cummings under their combined surnames. Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will support the tour, which includes stops at major arenas across multiple provinces starting with a Niagara Falls casino date on January 31 and continuing through August.
