Call of Duty - Black Ops 7 drops massive Season 1 update

Activision and Treyarch have launched their largest seasonal update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, delivering an extensive content package that spans multiplayer battlegrounds, zombie scenarios, and player-versus-environment challenges. The expansion introduces seven original maps across its duration, with Fate, Utopia, Odysseus, and a refreshed Standoff available immediately, while Yakei, a revamped Meltdown, and Fringe arrive progressively through the season's timeline.

Returning favorites such as Prop Hunt, Gun Game, One in the Chamber, Sharpshooter, and Sticks and Stones rejoin the rotation alongside seven additional weapons. Zombie enthusiasts receive Astra Malorum, a narrative-driven environment, plus Exit 115 for survival gameplay, complemented by fresh traps and recycled enhancements from earlier installments. The PvE Endgame mode gains four events, eight Exotic Skills, and seasonal festivities.

Despite charting near the upper tier of recent sales data, Black Ops 7 trails Battlefield 6 significantly after its initial launch period, though analysts caution against premature conclusions regarding its annual performance trajectory.
