Cardiff Midfielder Andy Rinomhota Out with Hamstring Injury

Cardiff City will play without Andy Rinomhota this weekend because he hurt his hamstring during their 2-1 loss against Burnley a few days ago. The injury happened mid-game, forcing him to leave the field.

Coach Omer Riza told reporters about the situation plainly: "Andy came off with a tight hamstring, so he probably won't be involved." This creates a gap in their lineup since Rinomhota became an important player after Riza replaced former coach Erol Bulut earlier in the season.

Rinomhota has shown his value by successfully playing right back, even though that isn't his natural position. His absence comes at a tricky time for Cardiff City, which currently stands just above the relegation zone in the Championship standings.

They have a five-point buffer from the danger area despite being only one place away from it. The team faces Sunderland tonight in another Championship match where they'll need to adapt without their versatile midfielder.
