The Central Board of Film Certification has cleared director Keerthiswaran’s upcoming pan-Indian film Dude for release with a U/A certificate. The film, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, has a certified runtime of 139 minutes. Senior actor Sarath Kumar plays a key role, while the supporting cast includes Rohini Molleti, Hridhu Haroon, and Dravid Selvam.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Dude is scheduled for release on Oct. 17 to coincide with Deepavali. The film’s first look shows Pradeep Ranganathan in an intense role, holding a Mangalsutra. Niketh Bommi serves as cinematographer, and Barath Vikraman is the editor. Dude will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
