CDA chief Randhawa confronts delays, demands quality in Islamabad

Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa ordered accelerated development across Islamabad's key sectors during a CDA headquarters meeting. Senior officials attended the session to review progress in sectors C-14, C-15, C-16, E-12, I-12, Park Enclave, Shaheen Chowk, Faizabad Interchange, and Kashmir Chowk. Randhawa emphasized maintaining construction quality while increasing project speed. The chairman mandated a visible public impact from all development initiatives. He directed CDA directorates to establish field offices in active development areas.

These camp offices will address resident complaints promptly through legal channels. Randhawa called for modern lighting systems and enhanced road infrastructure in developing sectors. He ordered road widening and legal removal of encroachments and illegal structures. Park Enclave received special attention with intensified roadwork and street lighting installation. The chairman praised recent commercial auction successes and directed adequate funding allocation.

Randhawa instructed the Finance Wing to maintain development momentum through proper resource distribution. He ordered Diplomatic Enclave upgrades to meet international standards. The directive eliminates bureaucratic delays that hinder sectoral projects.
