Chief Demands Decorum as MPs Go Wild on Vetting

A wise leader named Nii Annang Adzor leads a place called Ashaiman. He wants the people who work in Ghana's parliament to be nicer to each other. He spoke up because some people in parliament started fighting and breaking things during important meetings.

Nii Annang Adzor tells us that Ghana needs to learn from other countries like America, where leaders change peacefully. Many people watch these parliament meetings on TV. He worries that children see the bad behavior and might copy it. "Our leaders must remember everyone watches them, and children learn from what they see," he said.

The chief feels upset about how some members of parliament acted. These special people carry the name "Honourable" because they make laws for Ghana. He wants them to think before they act and show good behavior. "You must control your feelings with your mind before you do anything," he told them.

Something bad happened when one parliament member broke another person's things during an argument. The chief said this makes him very sad. He believes people who make laws should never act this way. He wants everyone to care more about making Ghana better instead of fighting with each other.

The person in charge of parliament, Mr. Alban Bagbin, decided to punish the people who caused trouble. He made them pay money to fix the things they broke. The chief thinks this punishment helps make parliament a better place. He believes everyone must follow the rules, even important people who work in parliament.
