Child Fund The Gambia committed 89 million dalasis to support education programs for children across the country. The organization signed agreements with three local partners during a Friday ceremony at Ocean Bay Hotel in Bakau. The partners are Dinding Yiriwa Federation, Saama Kaira Federation, and Foñi Dinding Federation. These renewed agreements will help deliver services to children and families more effectively. The funds will be distributed monthly to ensure proper support reaches those who need it most.
Country Director Musu Kuta Comma stressed the importance of transparency when handling money donated for children. She said extensive discussions with partners are necessary to make sure services reach the intended families. The organization wants all partners to use the money exactly as sponsors intended. Comma emphasized that everyone from children to community leaders must work together for success. She also highlighted the need to protect children from physical, sexual, and emotional harm.
Omar S. Sanneh represented the three partner organizations during the signing event. He promised that all partners would use the funds responsibly and accurately. The money will directly benefit children and their families throughout the partnership. These standard operation agreements create clear guidelines for how the organizations will work together. The partnerships aim to improve child development, protection, and safety across The Gambia.
