China warns allies not to cave on Trump tariffs

China tells world leaders not to make deals with America against them. A Chinese trade official warns countries about helping the US during tariff talks. Trump has put heavy taxes on Chinese products, which makes China unhappy. Japan started discussing these issues with Washington last week. South Korea plans to meet American officials very soon.

China promises strong action if any country harms its interests through US agreements. They responded to news that America wants to pressure many nations to limit trade with Beijing. Trump claims over 70 countries have wanted negotiations since he announced the tariffs. For Japan, this creates a tough situation between two important partners. Experts say Japan earns 20 percent from US business, but also 15 percent from China.

Trump believes import taxes will boost American-made goods. Critics argue moving factories back to the USA might take decades. The president imposed up to 145 percent taxes on Chinese imports. Other nations face temporary 10 percent tariffs until July. China fought back with 125 percent taxes on American goods, causing global market troubles.
