Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivayo presented a new Toyota Land Cruiser valued at $190,000 to African Apostolic Church founder Paul Mwazha for his 107th birthday. The multimillionaire also gave the religious leader $107,000 in cash, with the amount representing each year of his life.
Chivayo announced the gift through social media, praising Mwazha's contributions to Zimbabwe's spiritual and social welfare. The white Land Cruiser 300 ZX Series was selected to match the clergyman's traditional white robes.
The gesture followed a weekend where Chivayo purchased vehicles for 15 people, spending more than $800,000. Recipients included 13 religious figures and a maternal figure who received a $180,000 Land Cruiser.
Chivayo instructed church representatives to visit Exquisite Car Dealership on Monday morning to arrange registration and delivery. The dealer, identified as Victor, would personally deliver the vehicle to the centenarian church leader.
