Co-op Bank and AMI Team Up to Help MSMEs Grow

Co-op Bank teamed up with the African Management Institute for small business growth! This awesome partnership helps tiny companies become more competitive through the Aspire Business Growth Programme. Business owners can learn fresh skills for expanding their operations, thanks to Stanford Seed expertise involved in creating this special training.

The programme mixes practical business lessons with interactive online workshops where entrepreneurs meet other African business leaders. They even attend a special lecture from Stanford Graduate School professors! James Nduati from Co-op Bank says this helps entrepreneurs build knowledge for sustainable companies that create jobs across Kenya.

Top performers receive free mentoring from Stanford experts as a bonus! Participants learn about building business systems, finding target customers, managing money better, setting clear goals, plus hiring great staff. The partnership also improves how these small businesses work with banks, helping them become more profitable long term.

Fatma Nasujo explains that small businesses drive Kenya's economy but often lack the resources to grow properly. Regular classroom training takes entrepreneurs away from their shops without real results. AMI spent ten years developing practical tools that actually help small companies expand and hire more people, exactly when they need support most!
