Cody Garbrandt Crumbles Against Unranked Challenger

Cody Garbrandt lost another fight Saturday at UFC Atlanta against Raoni Barcelos. The judges scored all three rounds for Barcelos after their battle at State Farm Arena. Garbrandt once held the bantamweight title as an undefeated fighter back in 2016. His recent struggles have led many people to suggest he should retire from fighting. This latest defeat came 14 months after his submission loss to Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 300.

Coach Billy Bigelow remains confident about Garbrandt's future despite the setback. He posted a message on Instagram supporting his fighter after the loss. Bigelow believes Garbrandt can recover from this defeat and continue competing. The coach wrote that his team will return to training Monday morning. Many fans see this loss as a sign that the 33-year-old should end his career.
