Cotorro drops $25 console glue plugin with vintage 70s vibes

Cotorro Audio just released a cheap console emulation plugin. Their Summer Channel System aims for that classic console glue in a single plugin usable on any track or the master bus. The design pulls inspiration from big seventies mixing desks, but is an original virtual model called the CT one. It adds channel crosstalk, analog noise, and power sag emulation for character.

Channel mode focuses on punch and saturation. Flipping to master bus mode increases headroom and widens the crosstalk spread with a smoother saturation curve. This mode also adds a slight high-frequency lift. A global group switch lets you adjust the drive and mix across every instance of the plugin simultaneously.

Controls include drive, wet-to-dry mix, crosstalk amount, and output gain. A boost mode cranks the saturation hotter. The interface has a toggle between channel and master bus modes, plus an analog-style VU meter. A global bypass button can disable every instance at once.

The plugin costs twenty-five dollars. It is available as a VST three for Windows ten and eleven. A free demo version exists with occasional audio dropout but no time limit. The developers note that it passed validation testing at the highest strictness level.
