ACE Team and Nacon provided the first gameplay glimpse of their cooperative title, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, during a recent digital event. The game is scheduled for a multiplatform launch on personal computers, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in the summer of 2026. This project was previously delayed from its original release window.
The game strands a team of four players on a cursed island where reality is distorted, creating confusion between allies and foes. Its setting and tone are heavily inspired by Lovecraftian horror. Gameplay will challenge players with older weaponry, such as single-shot rifles that require strategic use, alongside survival against a hostile, mind-altering environment.
