CUEPACS warns civil servants in Malaysia to avoid actions risking public trust

CUEPACS leadership emphasized that government employees must maintain political neutrality while performing their duties. President Datuk Dr Adnan Mat stressed that public servants should avoid activities that damage citizen confidence in governmental operations. The organization highlighted how administrative personnel serve as foundational elements supporting national governance systems.

Government workers must prioritize service delivery excellence without external interference affecting their professional conduct. Adnan Mat reinforced expectations for employees to uphold ethical standards while maintaining institutional integrity. The union leader referenced Rukun Negara principles as essential guidelines for public sector behavior.

Chief Secretary Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar previously warned employees against attending weekend demonstrations planned for the capital. Officials determined that rally participation contradicts fundamental loyalty obligations toward constitutional authority. CUEPACS urged all personnel to resist external pressures that could compromise their professional standing within communities they serve.
