Exodus Moyo, a thirty-seven-year-old man, was arrested at the Plumtree border post after coming from Botswana with cannabis. Prosecutors led by Sheila Nyathi allege border officials searched him on Christmas Day, finding a bag holding five sachets of dagga.
The recovered cannabis weighed thirty-five grams. Moyo was taken to court, appearing before Magistrate Joshua Nembaware. The magistrate ordered him remanded in custody until January seventh.
