Daniel Munyanyi faces murder charges after shooting two detectives

Two CID Homicide detectives from Harare are dead after a suspect opened fire during an armed-robbery follow-up in Zaka.

• Casper Antonio McKenzie Chitsowe chased Munyanyi but died later.

• Munyanyi bolted after the shootout but got nabbed in Nyika.
• Members of the public caught him on 2 March.
• His first appearance landed before Magistrate Elizabeth Hanzi.
• Remand got extended until later this month.
