Dazik brings hope to Kasengere elders with Lilongwe giveaway

Gospel artist Davie Nkhoma delivered essential supplies to senior residents of Kasengere Village in T.A. Chitukula, Lilongwe, during a Friday morning visit. The musician, who performs under the stage name Dazik, distributed cooking oil, soya pieces, soap, and maize flour to address immediate needs among the community's oldest members. His charitable act focused on changing harmful attitudes toward aging while providing practical assistance to those facing food shortages.

Dazik spoke against viewing advanced age as misfortune, describing it instead as an achievement worthy of recognition. Chief Alex Zulu praised the timing of these donations, noting they arrived when elderly villagers most needed support. The chief urged younger community members to follow Dazik's example of generosity and compassion. This donation effort served both immediate relief purposes and broader community education about respecting senior citizens. The event demonstrated how individual actions can address pressing social issues while promoting cultural values.
