The ESRB just dropped a rating for the PC port of Death Stranding 2 which basically means it's coming out soon. People are expecting Kojima Productions to announce it at The Game Awards since that show is where companies usually reveal their stuff alongside the actual awards.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is handling the publishing duties on PC which is kinda wild because Kojima bought back the rights from Sony and could have done it themselves. First game got published by 505 Games on PC, so this is different. The studio might not have the manpower to handle publishing solo yet so they are sticking with Sony for help.
The PlayStation 5 version moved around 1.4 million copies after launching and got better reviews than the original game. The mature rating covers blood and violence with some nudity and strong language mixed in there, as expected.
