Devs Go Crazy for Apple Beta Liquid Glass OS

Apple made beta software available for developers across multiple device platforms today. Software creators can test macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26 and visionOS 26 builds on compatible hardware. Registered developers must connect their Apple ID accounts to Developer Account access first. The company requires this connection before beta downloads appear through device settings. Each operating system features major visual changes through Liquid Glass design elements.

macOS Tahoe 26 downloads through System Settings Software Update sections after account linking. Apple Watch software installs through the companion iPhone application under General options. Users navigate to Software Update and Beta Updates areas for installation steps. Apple TV owners find the test software through their device Settings applications. The company recommends testing these early builds on secondary devices rather than primary machines.

All four operating systems share the same glass-like visual appearance throughout their interfaces. tvOS 26 adds user profile features and various utility improvements for media streaming. watchOS 26 brings the fresh design language to wrist-worn devices. visionOS 26 updates the mixed reality headset experience with new interface elements. Apple also released iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta versions for mobile device testing simultaneously.
