DG Civil Defense Muhammad Ali Randhawa orders upgrade of emergency services and volunteer training across Islamabad

Muhammad Ali Randhawa oversaw extensive improvements to civil defense systems throughout Islamabad and its surrounding areas. The Capital Development Authority chairman held discussions with senior officials at headquarters on Saturday. Emergency response capabilities will receive enhanced equipment and updated training protocols. Officials reviewed current performance standards at the National Institute of Fire Technology and provincial training facilities. The administration approved multiple reforms targeting fire response, bomb disposal, and volunteer preparation programs.

Thirty-six master trainers will receive advanced instruction methods for volunteer education. Training centers across Pakistan will undergo modernization processes under the new directives. Public awareness campaigns will launch alongside regular safety workshops at educational institutions and community venues. The initiative seeks broader civilian participation while adopting international emergency management standards. Randhawa emphasized professional volunteer networks as essential components for effective crisis response systems throughout the region.
