Digvijaya Singh calls CJI shoe attack anti-Dalit hate

Congress leader Digvijaya Singh condemned the courtroom disruption targeting Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai on Monday and questioned whether the incident occurred because a Dalit occupies the highest judicial position. The former Madhya Pradesh chief minister criticized the perpetrator's mindset and demanded punishment. Singh discussed the Bihar election dates and alleged electoral roll manipulation that he claimed would benefit opposition parties on Nov. 14.

Singh identified unemployment, inflation, and poverty as major campaign issues while accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ignoring economic disparities. The Congress politician questioned the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's status as an NGO and challenged the legal basis for the Prime Minister Cares Fund. Singh demanded the resignation of Madhya Pradesh's chief minister and health minister after children died from toxic cough syrup in Chhindwara and criticized inadequate drug control oversight.
