Director Mohit Suri credits emotional motivation for 'Saiyaara' music success

Filmmaker Mohit Suri demonstrates expertise in musical storytelling despite lacking technical composition knowledge. The creator behind Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain achieves success through emotional motivation rather than musical theory. Suri admits complete ignorance regarding scales, notes, and instruments while focusing on feelings and artistic inspiration. His collaboration with composer Mithoon requires patience and encouragement to unlock creative potential. The director believes proper motivation transforms Mithoon into an unmatched musical talent.

Saiyaara represents Suri's latest achievement, featuring newcomer Ahaan Panday in his debut performance. The YRF production earned impressive opening figures of 24.75 crore rupees with net collections reaching 21 crore after taxation. Second-day performance improved significantly as the film collected 25 crore rupees for total earnings of 46 crore. These numbers surpass achievements by established stars during the post-pandemic period when audiences shifted toward streaming platforms. The movie continues theatrical exhibition across Indian cinema halls.
