discoDSP supercharges its HighLife sampler plugin

discoDSP released version 2.5 of HighLife Sampler with significant performance enhancements and new features. The company implemented a ThreadPool system that accelerates sample loading through parallel processing optimized for solid-state drives. Developers added intelligent memory management with automatic reference mode switching at 25MB thresholds. The update features comprehensive ZBP format support, enabling seamless integration between Bliss and HighLife samplers. Engineers preserved all musical parameters and synthesis settings during format conversions.

The software introduces an integrated Sample Library system with hierarchical folder navigation and intelligent caching capabilities. Users can access sample collections through streamlined menu options and improved workflow integration. Project management gains enhanced portability through automatic detection of missing files and graceful fallback systems. The audio engine resolves filter calibration issues and improves SFZ parser functionality for velocity layers. Existing customers receive this update free across AU, VST2, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms with native Apple Silicon support.
