DK Metcalf suspended for two games after fan clash in Detroit

DK Metcalf got slapped with a two-game suspension for going after a fan in Detroit. The league said he violated conduct rules by starting a physical confrontation. This costs him over half a million per game in lost salary. His future guaranteed money, around forty-five million dollars, might also be in jeopardy.

The fan, Ryan Kennedy, says he never used a racial slur through his lawyers. Video shows Metcalf swiping at him after some exchanged words. Metcalf is appealing the suspension. The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without their top receiver for games against Cleveland and Baltimore. The whole mess puts their division title hopes in a rough spot right now.
