The Digital Media Forum will present the Digital Media Excellence Award 2025 on Oct. 25 to recognize achievements in journalism, media, and digital innovation. DMF President, Md. Delowar Hossain announced at a press conference on Thursday that awards will be distributed across 19 categories at a Dhaka ceremony. The initiative seeks to motivate emerging digital journalists, align media practices with international standards, and acknowledge positive societal contributions from individuals and organizations.
Applications open on Oct. 3 and close on Oct. 15. Award categories span investigative reporting for digital platforms, business coverage, feature writing, corporate communications teams, brand campaigns, social media influence, emerging talent, innovation, lifetime achievement, jury selections, technology coverage, regional reporting, annual news impact, societal influence, diaspora journalism, multimedia production, sports coverage, and entertainment reporting.
