Dodoma residents urged to attend free health camp

Dodoma City authorities have invited residents to participate in complimentary non-communicable disease screenings at Nyerere Square Recreation Park, operating daily from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. starting tomorrow until Friday. City Director Frederick Sagamiko announced that the inaugural municipal health initiative, organized jointly with the Ministry of Health and the Association of Tanzanian Graduates from Korea, will provide examinations for diabetes, hypertension, breast cancer, cervical cancer and prostate cancer to encourage early detection of life-threatening conditions.

Sagamiko emphasized that citizens throughout Dodoma and surrounding councils can access diagnostic services at no cost during the campaign themed Take Action, Prevent Non-Communicable Diseases. Municipal officials characterized the outreach as advancing public health accessibility while promoting a preventive care culture across the administrative capital region.
