DP Pledges Universal Health for Every Kenyan Soon

Kenya wants everyone to see a doctor when they feel sick. Deputy President Kithure Kindiki talked about this at his house in Karen. He believes they can make it happen very quickly.

Many people already signed up for the new health plan called Taifa Care. Almost twenty million Kenyans joined, which makes Kindiki happy. These people can visit doctors near their homes without paying money.

The government needs more people to pay small amounts of money each month. This money helps pay for bigger health problems when people need special doctors or hospitals. Right this minute, lots of people signed up but haven't started paying. The government wants to help them understand why paying helps everyone stay healthy.

Kindiki said they created a new way to decide how much each person should pay. They listened to what people said about the old way and improved it. The new method considers real information about each person. It helps ensure everyone pays the right amount based on what they can give.

The leaders want every Kenyan to stay healthy. They think everyone should help each other by joining Taifa Care and paying what they can. This way, all Kenyans can see doctors and receive medicine when they need it.
