Dplus KIA reopens store as financial strain lingers

Dplus KIA just respawned its merch shop after a messy offline stretch, and the timing could not be more ironic given the org's cash flow nightmare. The South Korean esports outfit confirmed via its X account that logistics have stabilized and orders can resume, while apologizing to fans who got their purchases nuked during the shutdown.

To make amends, DK extended its Family Sale discount window by a full week and issued unconditional coupon codes to every account that suffered a canceled order. The org also disclosed that salaries for players across all rosters, LCK squad and all, got delayed by a month due to cash flow bottlenecks tied to an ongoing ownership handoff.

A specialized advisory firm is handling the M&A process, and DK claims advanced talks with a primary buyer are still active. Meanwhile, the squad just bagged $600,000 by sweeping Karmine Corp 3-0 in the League of Legends Grand Finals at the Esports World Cup in Paris, which should funnel some extra traffic toward that freshly revived storefront.
