A Nigerian dermatologist is opening another location of his beauty business in Abuja after clients kept asking for it. Dr Bruce Nwachie runs Skinetics clinics with his brother and partners, and the guy has been working in skincare for almost four decades, while the Lagos spot has been operating for a decade.
The doctor launched an academy to train beauticians properly because he says unqualified people have wrecked the industry with sketchy practices. His operation started as Skin Essence in the United States back in the 90s, before the Nigerian venture kicked off years later. The clinic focuses heavily on anti-aging treatments, which apparently drives most of the customer demand across the country.
