'Draupathi 2' shot in 31 days, swings from 14th century to 2025

Director Mohan G claims his new historical flick took barely a month to film. He told the media that Draupathi 2 wrapped production after just thirty-one days. The movie features Richard Rishi alongside Rakshana Indusudan. Kshatriyan noted they missed the initial thirty-day target by twenty-four hours.

This sequel follows the first Draupathi release. The runtime spans two hours and thirty-nine minutes. Only about nine minutes occur during 2025, while the rest happens back in the fourteenth century.

Mohan G credited a book titled Moondram Vallalla Maharaja by Annal Kandar for the script. He spent a year researching Thiruvannamalai's history. Chirag Jani plays the bad guy named Mohammad Bin Tughlaq. Sources claim three antagonists exist in the plot.

Censors gave the project a U/A certificate. Natti Natraj holds a key role within the cast. Chola Shakkaravarthi produced the work through Netaji Productions alongside GM Film Corporation.
