Armed robbers stole a car and cash from an InDrive driver after pretending to be customers. Mannex Nyengedza picked up four passengers from downtown Harare who turned violent near Old Mazowe Road. One passenger suddenly pulled the handbrake. Another pointed a gun at Nyengedza's head during the attack.
The criminals dragged the 29-year-old Sunningdale resident from his red Toyota Passo. They searched him thoroughly and took his Itel P36 phone along with $380 cash. Police later found the abandoned Toyota Passo in a ditch along Lorraine Drive. The car remained undamaged despite the incident.
