DStv is pulling the plug on BET Africa, MTV Base, CBS Justice, and CBS Reality when the new year hits, and people who actually watch those networks are pretty upset about losing them after all this time. The pay-TV company confirmed the shutdown will happen right at the start of the year, and temporary replacement channels are getting slotted into those spots instead.
BET Africa tried calming everyone down about Black Gold ending weirdly by saying double episodes will run through late next month, so the whole series gets aired before the channel dies. The network started up a decade ago, and MultiChoice is swapping it out with stuff like The Holiday Channel and FliekNet across both DStv and GOtv platforms.
