Dulquer Salmaan meets Telangana CM Revanth Reddy to thank him for the Gaddar State Film Award recognition

Malayalam cinema star Dulquer Salmaan visited Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (also known as Revanth Reddy) to express appreciation for receiving the Gaddar Telangana State Film Awards. The actor earned recognition for his role in the 2024 film Lucky Baskhar. Salmaan shared footage from the meeting on Instagram, showing Reddy presenting him with a shawl and flowers. The performer had missed the original ceremony due to international travel commitments. Their conversation covered topics related to the Telugu and Malayalam film industries.

Lucky Baskhar portrays a financially struggling man who resorts to fraudulent schemes to support his family. Sithara Entertainments produced the October 31 release in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios. Director Venky Atluri helmed the project, focusing on economic desperation themes. The film explores the challenges faced by lower-middle-class individuals through its protagonist's questionable choices. Audiences responded positively to Salmaan's portrayal of the complex character.

The actor will next appear in I'm Game, an action film directed by Nahas Hidayath. The project features Tamil actor Mysskin, Kathir, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in supporting roles.
