Durban City and Gavin Hunt split, Pitso Dladla takes the reins

Durban City booted Gavin Hunt after only five months because he kept beefing with the chairman about which players to sign. The club, sitting in 11th place after losing their last three games decided to hand things over to assistant coach Pitso Dladla while they figure out what comes next.

Hunt came in back when they got promoted, but the whole thing fell apart when transfer disagreements got heated with chairman Farook Kadodia. The team has been mediocre with four wins and four losses through their first dozen matches, and they just got smoked by Orlando Pirates at home.

Dladla takes over right before their cup match against a lower-division squad, which could either give them momentum or make everything worse if they lose to the underdogs.
