Dynamos Desperate For PSL Star Coach

Dynamos FC wants a top South African league coach to fix their bad season. The Zimbabwe team just added former Orlando Pirates striker Takesure Chinyama as their scoring coach on May 6. They started 2024 well with a cup win, but fell apart after league games began in March. Their record shows only two goals scored through ten matches, with just one win.

The club hopes to bring in Kaitano Tembo, an ex-Dynamos player who coached SuperSport United. Tembo works with youth teams at Sekhukhune United after head coach Lehlohonolo Seema lost his job. Talks move slowly, but club leaders still want him most. Current head coach Lloyd Chigowe keeps his job for the moment with full backing from the team.

Dynamos once ruled Zimbabwe football but have fallen behind new rich teams like Scottland FC. Scottland spent money on stars such as former Kaizer Chiefs player Khama Billiat. The last championship for Dynamos came back in 2014 under Callisto Pasuwa, who leads the Malawi national team today.
