The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has summoned Kisumu County City Manager Michael Abala Wanga to its Nairobi headquarters. This follows the Director of Public Prosecutions agreeing that criminal charges should be filed against him.

The intended charges include forgery, fraudulent acquisition of public property, and uttering false documents. The EACC has directed Wanga to present himself immediately for processing.
