Echoes of Elysium locks in early access takeoff

Airship survival enthusiasts finally got a concrete launch schedule after that annoying winter delay. Loric Games locked in January 27 for Echoes of Elysium to enter early access. The studio slapped a twenty-dollar price tag on the cooperative RPG while dropping a small discount during the opening week. CEO Brian Johnson claims this release strategy helps the team avoid developing in isolation. They want players to shape the experience instead of dumping a finished product nobody wants.

Engineers smoothed out combat animations and physics to make movement feel less janky. Cloth simulation currently applies to capes and skirts for realistic trailing effects while flying. A fresh import tool allowed the creators to add new wrench attacks smoothly. Systems will evolve based on feedback since the small crew admits bugs will happen early on.
