EFCC Calls on South East Youths to Back Anti-Corruption Drive Via Eagle Eye App

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission wants young people from Nigeria's South-East region to help stop money crimes. Chairman Ola Olukoyede spoke at a police meeting in Enugu State about working together. He told youth that fighting corruption needs their support. The agency chief said young people hold the key to a better future. He asked them to trust the commission as friends who want to help.

Olukoyede talked about building stronger ties between police and youth during the conference. The commission plans to clean up financial crimes across the South-East states. Young people must have strong values and knowledge to lead tomorrow. The chairman said his agency wants to change the region's reputation completely. Smart youth can make their communities better places to live.

The EFCC leader asked young people to share information about crimes they see. He wants them to download the Eagle Eye mobile application for reporting fraud. The app helps citizens tell authorities about suspicious money activities. Olukoyede said the commission serves people with respect and dignity. Young people can use technology to fight criminals in their neighborhoods.

The conference focused on reducing gaps between law enforcement and youth. Olukoyede believes cooperation will create safer communities for everyone. The commission needs reliable partners to hand over leadership roles. He emphasized that young people shape what happens next in Nigeria. Their involvement decides whether anti-corruption efforts succeed or fail.
