Emile Heskey Ignites Zimbabwe Football Craze

Emile Heskey wrapped up his Zimbabwe trip yesterday after meeting with local football leaders. The former England and Liverpool striker serves as Zotus Group Ambassador and sees infrastructure as vital for economic growth. He spent time exploring football growth chances and ways to help communities. Fans and officials gave him a warm welcome at Rufaro Stadium, where he watched Scottland defeat Simba Bhora 2-0. Michael Tapera scored both goals for the winning team.

Heskey talked with Zimbabwe Football Association officials about better coaching and player progress. During his stay, he noticed lots of raw talent. Many national team players develop skills abroad, which he believes will help local football improve. The stadium facilities need work, he said. Players show skill and speed but need more structure, though he believes improvement will take time.

Zotus Group already runs major projects across Africa and Asia. Their biggest venture is a $50 billion smart city project with Botswana. The company aims to expand through Africa by working with governments. They want to create helpful growth that includes everyone. His visit inspired many young football players who want to follow in his footsteps.
