Epic BIKA Final Sees Ngabi Nsamba Claim Glory

Buganda's top leader cheered young people at the BIKA Football Tournament. Charles Peter Mayiga urged youth to play sports and avoid harmful drugs. He praised the tournament for keeping culture alive at Muteesa Stadium. Sports teach good habits and bring communities together. Mayiga wants teenagers to stay active and build bright futures.

Ngabi Nsamba claimed their second championship title after an intense battle. The team defeated Ndiga 6-5 on penalty kicks following a 2-2 tie. Reagan Mpande netted two goals for the losing side during normal play. Sula Matovu and Stephen Yiga each scored for the champions. Thousands of excited fans filled the stadium for the thrilling final.

The competition began with 52 clans fighting for the crown. Elimination rounds narrowed the field down to 16 teams. Four groups emerged from these survivors to enter playoff action. Both championship teams advanced through penalty kick victories. Ngabi Nsamba beat Kkobe without scoring during their semifinal match.

Prize money rewarded the top three finishers handsomely. Champions earned 9 million shillings for their victory. Second-place Ndiga collected 7 million shillings for their strong showing. Third-place Nsenene claimed 3 million shillings after beating Kkobe 1-0. The annual tournament celebrates culture and builds community connections through competitive football.
