Charles Twiine faced charges at Buganda Road court on Thursday for planning attacks against President Museveni and his son, General Muhoozi. The former police spokesman appeared before Chief Magistrate Ronald Kayizzi alongside Noah Mutwe, a bodyguard for opposition leader Bobi Wine. Prosecutors claim Twiine sent social media messages urging Mutwe to kill the president using pavers. Court officials say he also targeted General Muhoozi for similar violence.
